Jalissa Birthday Portraits

Go off and celebrate your beauty with a boudoir session for your birthday

Jalissa and I recently met in an Uber ride on the way to Squeeze and The Psychedelic Furs at the Greek Theatre last month. The show was absolutely incredible but that isn't what this post is about!

We instantly clicked and I learned that she is a make up artist, beauty influencer and model in Los Angeles. As two creative-female-powerhouses, we knew we had to collaborate on a project!

After a couple weeks of meeting, we were on location bringing her birthday photoshoot to life in DTLA at a photostudio rental spot she found through Giggster- which is rental space platform I had only heard of through instagram a few days before.... (Synchronicities are out there when you're paying attention, I swear!)

I absolutely loved working with her and we agreed that is is so important to practice self love and a great way to honor ourselves is through documenting our beauty through photoshoots!

The vision was getting ready for her birthday by baking a cake and then transitioning into a boudoir glam bombshell celebrating with the aforementioned cake! It was sooo cute and sexy! I absolutely love this bithday boudoir set and I hope it inspires all the babes to celebrate themself, whether it's your birthday or just because you slay all year!

I will attach Jalisa's Tiktok about how our photoshoot went accompanied by her great commentary and thoughts about the session here! Check out my video's on the session here

I am enticed by the world and captivated by all nature has to offer. To be one with Earth; the humans, animals and plant life is my spiritual conquest that I am searching through my third eye, my viewfinder. Exposing the beauty of the small detail that catches my eye through images is what I live for. I am here to share my endeavors and the small details on this planet that capture my eyes and get captured by my lens.
