Hi there! I’m Jerri White! Raised by artists and industry folk in Los Angeles and have always been a creative individual! In retrospect art and film is second nature to me, particularly still-photography although I had my taste of being in front of the lens and on the big screen before I even turned 1! I was scouted to be the newborn daughter of Steve Martin and Diane Keaton’s daughter in the classic film, Father of the Bride 2!
The photographic medium has always been something rather magical and mesmerizing. My love for photography goes way back. Seriously, as far as I can remember. The interest began with documentary photo as I would get lost for hours in my grandparent’s photo archives; both on display and boxed up- these images never got old, the family and photography are timeless!
I’ve always had a passion for the medium. As a young child, I was already shooting still and videos with toy and film cameras and camcorders. I moved into digital photography during my freshman year of high school and began documenting all of my friends in and outside of school, concerts, and my family’s get-togethers. I worked for the high school year book and was selected to be the first-ever Photo Editor for my high school’s first satirical newspaper. Getting appointed as the Photo Editor was a shock to me in ways; yet, everyone in my class was well-aware that I always had a camera in hand and they suggested that I was the perfect woman for the job.
In Uni, I took my first photo course and decided to make my passion a career choice after originally planning to study psychology. I graduated from the University of La Verne in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in photography, and a minor in business administration. Since college, I have worked in various industries, have maintained many jobs, and can flaunt multiple titles- such as: film, fashion, e-commerce, skin care, child care. etc… Most importantly, I, Jerri White, am a multi-media artist, a human who values connection, creating and living life with a focus on passion and truth.
My most favorite part of my job is working with clients, I love human connection and value that relationship in my work! It’s amazing to watch visions become a reality. I absolutely adore working with brands on their photography and marketing. In addition to photography, I offer graphic design services, website design, social media coordinating, archiving files, managing studios. From creative portraits to delicate moments to the next sweet product, being able to bring my clients vision to life is what I value as a photographer.
